Surf n Dreams was started up by Nic Leppan whilst traveling around the world the idea was to create a friendly and unique environment for travelers to have a memorable stay in Durban and to explore all the exciting adventures it has to offer for overseas visitors.

You will find the local hotspots only a few minutes walk from our doorstep which includes top restaurants, clubs and cocktail lounges.

We are about 2km from the beach. Our aim is to provide a safe and fun place for backpackers to hang out and chill and be given the opportunity to see and do as much as possible in their stay.

In our own words we would like to say come and kick back and chill by the pool and soak up the rays whilst sipping on a cocktail.

Room description / How many, types, information, facilites?

All rooms have names after famous waves: Shipsterns - situated outside of the house sleeps 10 people and it has on suite bathroom Sunset- it's same room as Shipsterns, just sleeps 12 and it's inside of the house San Miguel- Mexican room - sleeps 6 and has a beautiful view on the swimming pool. Shared bathroom Supertubes - South African room - sleeps 4 and you have to share bathroom Spooners cove - couples room - fresh room with its own privacy, shared bathroom

Durban Intl Airport - as you exit airport turn right at T-Junct stay in left lane so you can get on the N3 towards PMB follow N3 for about 10km till you reach Spagetti junction road will branch left for PMB and head straight towards Durban or Stanger take Durban city road follow road till you see ridge road exit take exit go follow road over ridge road carry on down road till you reach Essenwood road turn left at Essenwood follow Essenwood for 2km till you reach Springfield road turn right on Springfield head down road for about 50m corner house on right hand side 110 your at Surf n Dreams! Durban Station - as you come the station Turn left on NMR avenue follow NMR till you see Argyle off ramp take Argyle off ramp turn left on argyle follow argyle for 2.5km till it turns into Springfield at Musgrave traffic lights carry on up Springfield 100m up the road on the right 110 Springfield your at Surf n Dreams!
